Directions to the White House

From M25 (clockwise):
• Leave M25 at Junction 26 (Waltham Abbey). At first roundabout, take third exit, which leads back under the motorway.
• At next roundabout, take first exit, signposted towards Epping and Loughton.
• At next roundabout (Old Orleans pub), take fourth exit, signposted towards Woodford (A104).
• Continue straight across next roundabout, and all junctions until the next roundabout.
• Here, go around the roundabout to turn back towards the way you came. Keep in the left hand lane, and turn into the second unmade road (there is a signpost to The White House, and to Woodford Rugby Club). Take the drive through the gates to the White House.
From M25 (anticlockwise):
• Leave M25 at Junction 27 (M11). Follow M11 until it joins the A406 (North Circular) and turn West. As the road merges with A406, get into the second from left-hand lane, and take the next exit slip road.
• At the roundabout, turn right towards Woodford.
• At the next roundabout, take the second unmade road (there is a signpost to The White House, and to Woodford Rugby Club). Take the drive through the gates to the White House.
From A406 (North Circular):
• Take the exit at the junction for Woodford (Waterworks Roundabout). At the roundabout, turn North towards Woodford.
• At the next roundabout, take the second unmade road (there is a signpost to The White House, and to Woodford Rugby Club). Take the drive through the gates to the White House.
Public Transport
• Take the Central Line from to South Woodford Station
• From South Woodford Station take the Route Bus W13 towards St.Thomas of Canterbury Church or Route Bus 179 towards Chingford Station
• Buses every: 5 - 11 minutes (Maximum journey time: 17 minutes)
• Get off the bus at the Churchill Memorial, continue up the hill and cross the main round about and continue right for 100 yards until you see a sign for the Hospice. Walk down the drive indicated the White House and press the buzzer when at the gate. ( maximum walk 5 minutes)
