Own Place Runners

If you have been lucky enough to secure a place in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2019 ballot (released in October 2018), we would love for you to use your own place to run for Haven House. There is no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can.

Why choose Haven House?

H – HOLISTIC – We support children and their families, offering a range of services for physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.

A – AMBITIOUS – We provide the best care possible to babies, children and young people and their families in our local communities. Working in partnership we will deliver these services whenever and wherever our families need them.

V – VITAL – We are a vital lifeline in the local community as we have supported over 900 families over the last 15 years.

E – EXPERIENCES – Haven House is not just a building. In our grounds there is a fully accessible specialist play area and tranquil sensory garden surrounded by many acres of beautiful woodland giving our families the chance to make special memories.

N – NEED SUPPORT – All care provided at Haven House is free of charge to families and we only receive 19% statutory funding. We rely on the local community and people like you to help us reach our fundraising target of £4.4 million in 2018/19.

You will receive:

  • A Welcome Pack with full fundraising support
  • A Pre-Marathon Training Event with running, injury and nutrition specialists
  • A personalised Haven House running vest
  • An amazing Haven House cheer squad en route – last year we had a choir!
