Sam Faiers from The Only Way Is Essex will officially open Haven House Children’s Hospice’s new charity shop in Romford on Saturday 16 July at 1pm.

Shoppers will have the chance to meet Sam and receive fashion advice from the TV star who runs Minnies Boutique in Brentwood with her sister, Billie.

Haven House’s charity shop on 52 South Street, Romford, began trading in June and Sam will cut a ribbon to officially mark its arrival in the town.

Sam and Billie have been long-time supporters of Haven House. Sam recently raised £760 for the charity selling items from her eBay shop. In October Billie raised £5,000 by appearing on ITV game show All Star Mr and Mrs with her fiancé Greg Shepherd.

Sam said: “Haven House does such important work for local children and families and I can’t wait to officially open its new charity shop in Romford on Saturday 16 July. I have heard the shop looks amazing and it will be great to see all of my fans for the opening.”

Matt Lord, Head of Retail, said: “With her sensational style and bubbly personality, Sam is the perfect person to officially open our new charity shop in Romford at 52 South Street.

“Since the shop began trading earlier in June we have been delighted by how quickly stock has been selling off the shelves.

“We are urging residents to donate their pre-loved goods to the shop and we also need volunteers to help in the shop.”
