28 hours a week across two sites

We need you to help us deliver our care to families who so desperately need us during the most difficult of times. Despite the difficulties posed by Covid- 19, therapies continue to be highly valued and important to our families.

As a counsellor at Haven House & Richard House, you will lead the counselling service, holding caseloads and also coordinating annual memory days as well as bereavement anniversaries. You will manage your own caseload of individuals and work in collaboration with the wider care teams to ensure events pertaining to grieving families are held sensitively and with the upmost care. You will be able to demonstrate your exceptional team-working skills, flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm, whilst upholding Haven House values; Professional, Safe, Respectful and Compassionate.

As a valued member of the Community and Wellbeing service, you will join a unique and vibrant team in which collaboration and multi-disciplinary working are celebrated.

In return, we will support your wellbeing and offer you a supportive environment to develop your skills and make a real contribution to service development, alongside our community & wellbeing team.

This role will require you to offer blended services, where appropriate at the hospices or virtually where this is the preferred format from clients.
