Lands end to John O'Groats

Cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats, the furthest possible distance in the British Isles, is a classic challenge that many dream of. Starting at Land's End on the south westerly tip of England, we pedal our way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and north along the Welsh border, skirting the Lake District into Scotland, via lochs and the Highlands to the North Coast and John O'Groats. In all we will cover just over 1000 miles, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countryside in the British Isles. This is a tough challenge but a fabulous way to see the country, and one of the most rewarding things you will ever do! 

The exact route, distances and night-stops are subject to change based on accommodation restrictions, and will be confirmed closer to departure; the daily descriptions shown are very typical.

What's included when you take on Lands End to John O'Groats?

COSTS

There are three ways of funding your place for this cycle. For all of the options there is a non-refundable registration fee of £349 which you pay today.

Fundraising option

You commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £3800 per person. £3040 of this payment (80%) must be sent to us ten weeks prior to the trip and out of this we pay the balance of your trip costs. The rest of your fundraising should be sent to us within two weeks of your return. Overall, 50% of your fundraising target will be going directly to supporting seriously ill children and their families. 

Part fundraising option

You can contribute £500 to your trip costs and pay directly to discover adventure. You also commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £2800 per person. £2240 of this payment (80%) must be sent to us ten weeks prior to the trip and out of this we will pay for the rest of your trip costs. The rest of the fundraising should be sent to us within two weeks of your return. Overall, 50% of your fundraising target will be going directly to supporting seriously ill children and their families. 

Full payment option

You may prefer to cover all of the trip costs yourself. If you wish to do this, you agree to pay £1900 directly to discover adventure 8 weeks before departure. You can set your fundraising target and 100% of this will come to us.

• Support from a dedicated Haven House fundraiser in the build up to the event
• Regular communications including fundraising and training advice
• A Haven House T-shirt or/and cycling vest to wear with pride!
