Fixed Term contract for 1 year only

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Haven House Children’s Hospice supports hundreds of families, looking after children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Our mission is to provide the highest quality palliative and holistic care services to children and their families in our local communities. Since the hospice began it has gone from strength to strength in both the care we provide to families as well as ensuring our audience is inspired by our work to support us.

At Haven House the focus within the Income Generation and Marketing Team is to put the supporter and donor at the centre of everything we do, ensuring they feel inspired by our work and the children and families we support; engaged and committed to our cause and ultimately make a commitment to do something amazing.

Our Events Manager is going on maternity leave at Christmas and we are looking for someone to replace her as we head into the exciting new year 2022. We’re looking for an individual who is ambitious and able to hit the ground running to proactively develop and drive our events portfolio. The role will take the lead on all our events including third party challenges, individual challenges, staff-led events, supporter-led events and virtual and digital events. You will manage the events budget and be able to deliver first-class supporter stewardship journeys.
