Andrew Yuill Thanks for visiting my page.

I was meant to be doing this last year but as some of you may recall after putting in the winter training and t-totalling for 3 months, I ended up tearing my calf and pulled out a few weeks before the event. Needless to say at the time I was pretty gutted.

Thankfully (I think!?) the charity I'm running on behalf of, Haven House Children's Hospice, offered to defer my place to 2018. After a bit of perspective, re-grouping, and too many sessions with the physio/ sports doctor/ sports masseur I care to remember (thank you BUPA healthcare) I'm giving the London Marathon another crack, and this time just hope to get to the start line, let alone the finish!

Haven House was selected as my employer's "Charity of the Year", and far from claiming to be qualified to comment it offered a small insight into the crucial care and amazing support they provide to life-limited children and their families to help them through the most difficult circumstances imaginable.

I would like to share with you the link to the hospice’s appeal film (https://www.havenhouse.org.uk/harry-kai-and-aisha). Haven House need to secure £3.6m per year to fund all of their hospice activities, with only 22% of the this funded by Government sources.

My target is £2,000 but I would really like to raise as much as possible. It would be really great if you could sponsor as little or as much as you can.

I thank you in advance for your generosity.

All the best,
Andy
