Marina and Vimal Dear Colleagues, Friends and Family,

We wish to request your support for two special charities – Haven House Children's Hospice and Richard House – that serve as hospices for children and young people.

In essence, their mission is to provide palliative care and assistance for those that have terminal illnesses or life-threatening conditions, as well as support services for their families during what can only be best described as an especially difficult time.

Haven House and Richard House have supported almost 1,000 families between them and are looking to expand their services to care for more children and a greater number of families, for which they need our support. You can read more about them at the links below to understand the truly special work they do.

How do we intend to raise funding to support these great ventures? Well, teaming up with other Citi volunteers, we are aiming to scale the highest mountain in Africa on a 6-day trek this July!

Mount Kilimanjaro proudly stands at a height of 5,895m above sea-level. The trek will be a significant challenge for us and we will share with you our pictures, from the journey to Tanzania and Kilimanjaro National Park, to, hopefully, the summit at Uhuru Peak, in the heavens, overlooking Africa.

Citi will provide funding to match a portion of your fundraising. Therefore, if we can reach our target, your donations will count for even more.

Please support us in raising funding for these worthy causes.

We really appreciate your support!

About Haven House Children's Hospice
Haven House's vision is for the best possible life for every baby, child and young person with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition and their families, by providing the highest quality palliative and holistic care services. First conceived in the early 1990s, as the brainchild of Sue Irwin, a registered nurse and health visitor, who with friends and colleagues founded the charity to provide care to life-limited children and their families at no cost to them, Haven House has supported over 650 families in North and North East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire. Their Vision 2020 is a five year strategic plan to support 500 children each year across their respite, end-of-life and community services by 2020.
