Ellie Irwin I'm no runner, that's for sure. But on October 6th I'm running the Bournemouth Supersonic 10k https://www.bournemouthmarathon.com/10k/ to raise money for Haven House.

The last charity event I took part in involved running into the sea on Christmas Day dressed as inflatable turkey, so this 10k will surely be a breeze in comparison, right?!

I know people are inundated with fundraising requests, but I would be so grateful for your support. And if you have a few minutes please take a look at the work Haven House do. To date, they've supported over 900 families, looking after children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old with life-limiting or life-threatening illnesses. Their residential and community services extend across North and North East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire, including respite and end-of-life care.

In the hospice, children benefit from play activities as well as day and overnight stays. Families can also take advantage of support groups for mums and dads and siblings (Buddies).

I would be so grateful for anything you can contribute. Alternatively, take a look at ways you can support Haven House https://www.havenhouse.org.uk/Pages/Category/other-ways-to-give

Thank you. Ellie Irwin
