My lovely Mum-in-Law, Sue, founded Haven House from her spare bedroom at home to fill a desperate need for respite care for children with life limiting conditions in the area.

From those small beginnings, Haven House grew, and to date, has supported over 900 families, providing respite and end of life care to children and young people aged from birth to 19 years old across North and North East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire.

Despite Sue's own health problems she remained heavily involved with Haven House until her death in 2008. Sue may no longer be with us, but her work lives on. My family are so immeasurably proud of the incredible work Haven House do. Running the London Marathon 2020 for them is the biggest honour.

I want to ensure Haven House can continue to help as many children and their families as possible. Sue, this one's for you!

Haven House receive very little government support, relying on supporters to help with over 78% of their funding. There is always more to do, and I want to raise as much money for them as I can. If that means 26 miles of pain, then count me in!

Any donation, however small, really does make a difference. Thank you so much.
