Each year I open my home and garden to sell cakes (and tea, Pimms, raffle, BBQ etc) to raise money for Haven House Children’s Hospice. For each of the last three years we’ve raised over £8000 - enough to run the Hospice for one day.
This year The Cake Sale will be slightly different. We still want to raise as much as possible though, as Haven House are missing out on so much funding.
There’s going to be a socially distanced pop-up cake trail on 12th,13th and 14th June including here in my front garden from 12pm til 4pm on Friday 12th June. Other locations are Woodford, Buckhurst Hill and even Australia and the USA!
Then on Saturday 13th June we have a stall outside the Cuckfield pub in Wanstead from 10 til 3 for cake and takeaway Pimms.
We really need donations of home baked cakes (preferably a whole cake rather than cupcakes), so please let me know if you are able to bring me one or more! I know lots of you have been baking during lockdown, so please put those skills to good use!
Then come along on the day and buy something (please bring your own container!)
You could also bake and sell your own cakes locally to family/friends/neighbours.

Its now a pop up bake trail around East London and even Australia and USA.
Lots of lovely people have offered to take part in the fundraising initiative.
Big thanks to
