My dad and I are going to take on the ultimate challenge of a Wing Walk on Monday 26th April 2021. Having already done a Skydive in 2013 and a Bungee Jump in 2015, this is the next step. We'll be attached to a rig on the top of a plane (as below) and flown through the skies up to 700ft and reaching speeds of up to 120mph.

We've decided to raise money for the wonderful Haven House Children's Hospice, who work incredibly hard to look after seriously ill children and their families 24/7. During the last few months the hospice has continued to care and adapt by:

  • Providing crisis care & respite
  • Increased the bed capacity to take in more complex children
  • Embraced technology and continued to deliver services such as music and play therapy, therapeutic yoga and physiotherapy via video call.
  • The play therapists devised play boxes, providing specialist sensory activities tailored to each child and delivered them to their front door.

Covid-19 has had a HUGE impact on the fundraising the hospice receives, which relies on 64% of voluntary income which includes people taking on crazy activities like us!

The future is so uncertain for many of us, including our local charities, so please support us in any way you can and lets raise lots of vital funds for this incredible cause.

Thank you,
Sophie & Martin
