Having appeared on Leyton Orient’s away shirts for the last two seasons, Haven House will continue as a front of shirt charity partner for a third year – now appearing on the third shirts. The hospice is the only charity to be chosen by Harry Kane to appear on the shirts for all three years of his partnership so far.

Eileen White, Director of Care, and Jason Rigby, Director of Income Generation, at Haven House joined Leyton Orient to launch this year’s partnership at the Museum of London, where a free display on the life and career of Harry Kane is currently being hosted. 'Harry Kane: I want to play football' is open until December 2022 and includes Harry’s personal debut Orient shirt, as well as shirts from previous years of the partnership.

Throughout the last season, families supported by Haven House have had the opportunity to attend matchdays at Leyton Orient to create lifelong memories. Our hospice also benefitted from a bucket collection at the last match of the season, raising more than £1000 from generous O’s fans, and as per previous seasons, 10% of the proceeds of each shirt sale will be passed directly to Haven House.

AS A FATHER I UNDERSTAND THE WORK THEY DO

Harry Kane said:

“I am thrilled to continue the incredible partnership with Haven House, who are located close to where I grew up. Having supported Haven House over the past three years I know this charity provides a lifeline to these families through creating memories and providing support through specialist care. As a father I can really understand the work they do.”
ORIENT AND HARRY HAVE GIVEN THE CHILDREN MEMORIES THEY’LL NEVER FORGET

CEO at Haven House Children’s Hospice said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be continuing our incredible partnership with Harry Kane and Leyton Orient FC for a third year. In the last three years the partnership has enabled us to create extraordinary memories for our children and families, raise awareness of the hospice in our local community and around the globe, and raise vital funds to support our work.

“Haven House is here to help families make memories to last a lifetime and this special football partnership has helped us achieve just that. The children involved have faced unimaginable challenges, whether that’s living with a very serious illness, caring for a brother or sister, or having had to say goodbye to their sibling who they love dearly. It means the world to us that Leyton Orient FC and Harry have given them experiences they’ll never forget. On behalf of the children, their families, and the whole Haven House team, thank you! We look forward to the 22/23 season.”

A PARTNERSHIP WE CAN ALL BE PROUD OF

Josh Stephens, Head of Commercial from Leyton Orient FC, said: “One of the best bits about Harry renewing is that we will continue to be able to welcome the most amazing families and staff from Haven House to the O’s. The team at Haven House is relatively small, but what they deliver is truly mighty. A huge thanks to the Haven House team for the day to day support they give in driving this partnership forward. We are incredibly fortunate that Harry continues to support the O’s as it enables us to continue a partnership we can all be proud of. To all the families we have been fortunate to meet over the past season, we truly cannot wait to welcome you back.”

“Harry Kane: I want to play football” is open now at the Museum of London and runs until December 2022. Entry to the display is free.
