Haven House is looking for a highly motivated Philanthropy Manager to help raise funds for the vital projects we run at the hospice and in the local community. Working within a well established corporate and major gifts team, this new full time role will be key in helping to drive the organisation's fundraising as we reach the half way point of our Vision 2020. 

As the Philanthropy Manager you will be instrumental in developing Haven House's key relationships with high net worth individuals. You will have a breadth of experience in account management, networking and building great rapport with a range of donors and influencers.

A confident networker, you should enjoy getting out and about locally and in the city to achieve long lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships. Working alongside a highly experienced corporate and major gifts team you will have a great track record in working with high net worth individuals and delivering passionate, bespoke asks to attract five and six figure donations to the hospice.

You will be able to balance working independently, as well as within the wider team and bring with you detailed and thorough proposal writing and management skills as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Haven House's five year strategic plan (Vision 2020) encompasses aspirational plans for growth and change.  This role is crucial in helping to raise the necessary funds for new and innovative services for life-limited children and their families in London and Essex.

This role will be based in the Holistic Care Centre at Haven House Children's Hospice in Woodford Green, offering free parking or easy access from the Central Line.

£37-40k per annum
