This is a key time to join Haven House as our Trusts and Foundations Manager and be a part of our successful and ambitious Corporate and Major Gifts team.  This established role has seen great success so this is your chance to build on this and ensure our Trust income continues to grow.

You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with donors and funders from charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies to raise c£500,000 PA.   This role will focus on small to medium sized funders and there will also be the chance to work on large funding bids such as Big Lottery and Children in Need.

Working alongside your highly experienced colleagues you will have a track record in securing grant funding for both revenue and capital projects, as well as particular projects and medical/sensory equipment. You should have either recent similar bid writing experience within the charity sector or transferable skills from other industries.

You will be able to balance working independently, as well as within the wider team and will bring with you an eye for detail, excellent research skills and a persuasive writing style.  You will be able to draw together information from a variety of sources to create compelling bids in a timely manner.  You will have plenty of confidence to deal with key Trust Funders and continue to build on these key relationships for the benefit of our children and families.

Haven House’s five year strategic plan (Vision 2020) encompasses aspirational plans for growth and change. This role is pivotal in helping to raise the necessary funds for new and innovative services for life-limited children and their families in London and Essex.

In return you will get to work with a passionate team in a wonderful location.

This role will be based in the Holistic Care Centre at Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford Green, offering free parking or easy access from the Central Line.
