Haven House Children’s Hospice was delighted to be selected as the beneficiary for this year’s Universal Pictures International Golf Day on Friday 20 September 2019 at The Grove, Hertfordshire.

Guests were treated to a three-course dinner with a raffle, live auction and a film about Harry, Kai and Aisha, which showcased the support Haven House provides to the seriously ill children we look after, and also to their siblings.

The golf day raised £15,560 from around 50 guests, who had already donated amazing raffle and auction prizes. Universal also donated a money-can’t-buy prize for the auction at our Haven House Garden Gala Ball on 17 October - a trip for the lucky winner, plus up to 60 guests, to Universal's exclusive screening room in the West End.

Pushpinder Gill, Director of Income Generation and Marketing at Haven House, said: “We were delighted to take part in this year’s Universal Golf Day and we are amazed by the generosity of the guests."

“We really value the support we have received from Universal over the past few months, not just from their Golf Day, but also in helping us organise the viewing of a new film at the hospice for one of the young people we supported.”
