We are 15! This year Haven House is celebrating 15 years of providing care and support to life-limited children and their families in the local area. Since opening our doors we have become a vital resource to over 900 life-limited children and their families. The need for our services, is growing all the time. We've done some amazing things over the past 15 years and we could not have done it without your help! We'd like to say thank you and show you how we have grown over the last 15 years. We are determined to meet the need in the growth for specialist services for now, and over the next 15 years and beyond. We never want to turn away a seriously ill child or their family. Read some of the 15th birthday wishes that have been sent to us from our celebrity supporters and Patrons and watch Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes and Chris Kamara send us a special birthday message. Leave a gift in your Will By considering leaving a gift in your Will you can help us provide the best palliative and holistic care to babies, children and their families as well as planning for the future of our hospice. Without legacy gifts, however large or small, we could not deliver our services to families who need it most. Find out more about leaving a gift in your Will. Hold your own fundraiser There are so many fun ways you can fundraise for Haven House. If you’d like to be part of our celebrations this year, get your creative juices going and plan your own exciting fundraiser. Or get in touch and we can support you in organising anything from a disco, quiz night, or talent show, to a football tournament, pamper evening or community fair. Find out more about holding your own fundraiser. Turn up the Volume We are inviting all primary schools to Turn up the Volume for Haven House. Our new fundraising initiative involves the children taking part in a singing based activity for the whole school to enjoy. We have created a range of simple ideas that are fun for the children and easy for the staff to organise. Find out more about Turn up the Volume. Host a Big Tea Par-Tea We are delighted that Amy-Beth Ellice, author of Amy’s Baking Year, is supporting our Big Tea Par-Tea initiative. This is a wonderful way to create memories with families, friends or colleagues by coming together over cake and a cuppa. By raising money for Haven House you will help us to create precious memories for our families. Find out more about holding a Big Tea Par-Tea.
