Three of our shops will reopen on Monday 20 July, following our temporary closure due to Covid-19.

We will once again be welcoming customers to our shops in Romford, Loughton and Leytonstone, in a phased reopening plan. Our eBay outlet is also up and running.

Those three shops are already welcoming donations from the public, who have been decluttering during this extended period of time at home.

Head of Retail at Haven House Matthew Lord said: “Throughout the pandemic, our number one priority has been keeping our staff, volunteers and customers safe and this continues to be the case as we look to reopen.

''From Monday 20 July, we will reopen a small number of our shops, ensuring that all necessary precautions are in place such as social distancing measures, protective equipment for staff and volunteers, hand sanitiser stations and the safe collection and processing of donated items. The re-opening of the rest of our stores will follow in the coming weeks."

We are looking forward to seeing our customers again. Our shops are loved community hubs on the high street and we intend to give our customers the warmest possible welcome back given the restrictions. We wish to thank everyone for their patience and support.

  • To ensure a safe shopping experience, we are restricting numbers of customers in shops at any one time
  • You will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines and may be asked to wait outside until a customer has left
  • We will have hand sanitiser stations in all shops for you to use
  • Unfortunately, our changing rooms will be closed
  • We encourage you to pay by card
  • Donations of goods are currently being accepted at our Romford, Loughton and Leytonstone stores. We advise you to call ahead to check store opening and closing times. Due to the restrictions on handling donated goods we will need extra time to process them.
