I will be running the London Landmark's Half Marathon on Sunday 2nd April 2023, after first completing it in 2019.

I have chosen to run for Haven House Children's Hospice because without them, my sister wouldn't have been able to spend the quality time with her son Reggie.

My Nephew Reggie was born 6th July 2018, during my sister's pregnancy she found out that Reggie would be seriously ill and that he probably wouldn't survive the birth. He defied the odds and survived the birth but sadly he was unable to breath unaided. After numerous test & 6 weeks of our Reggie fighting so hard, unfortunately there was nothing more GOSH could do. On August 20th 2018, Reggie was transferred from Great Ormond Street Hospital to Haven House, where he sadly passed away surrounded by his family.

Haven House provided so many special and personal touches for my sister, they arranged for a photographer to come in and capture our families last moments with Reggie. They also took his footprints and made them into charms so we can put them onto necklaces and finally they put together 2 memory boxes for my mum and my sister to keep. The support didn't stop there, after my sister returned home they would call her and they even went to her home to check on her wellbeing and everything was going okay. Every Christmas Haven House hold a special event to remember the loved ones we have lost and the loved ones they continue to support.
