Your rights

You retain control of how we use your data and you have the right to ask us to stop processing your personal information, which we will do. At any time, you have the right to make a Subject Access Request which entitles you to your own personal data. In some circumstances, we may legally be required to retain your personal information for legal or audit purposes. However, this will be discussed with you depending on your requirements.

Any requests for patient information will be processed in accordance with:

• Caldicott Guardianship Policy
• Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy
• Records Management and Record Keeping Policy

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Update or amend the information we hold about you if it is wrong
• Change your communication preferences at any time
• Ask us to remove your personal information from our records: in these circumstances we would retain your name, home address and email address on a ‘suppression list’ of individuals with whom we will not make any future contact
• Object to the processing of your information for marketing purposes, or
• Raise a concern or complaint about the way in which your information is being used.
