Our complementary therapy service is led by volunteers and is offered to parents of children who are receiving care at Haven House.

We currently offer two therapies - Rejuvanessence and Reflexology. Therapeutic touch and the use of aromatherapy oils can promote comfort, relaxation and the reduction of stress.

Rejuvanessence is a holistic facial massage that is non-invasive and wonderfully restful. It includes gentle, very precise massage of the 91 muscles of the face, neck, skull and shoulders. The treatment lifts up your face by gently helping to release the tightened tissue, the skin regains its flexibility, giving it a plumper appearance, your face looks more open and relaxed, smoother younger and happier.

Reflexology works on the feet and can be used to help restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium. This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own balance.

I have been having reflexology regularly for about a year, and after each session I feel so much better, less stress, less joint pain and just an overall feeling of wellbeing. I have also noticed that my energy level has increased, which is wonderful.
