  • Red House Box (RHB) ambassadors needed in Ilford, Walthamstow, Loughton, Debden, Epping, Wanstead, Harlow, Enfield, Dagenham and Barking, Chadwell Heath and Romford, particularly in the highlighted areas. The role involves managing the area/high streets; keeping a check on the existing boxes and replacing them when required. Our team will provide you with a detailed area sheet and admin and office support.

  • Bucket Collections

We have the following TFL bucket collections :

Thursday 24th January - Liverpool Street

Thursday 14th February - Chancery Lane

Wednesday 13th March - Canary Wharf

Thursday 21st March - Woodford

Thursday 11th April - Westminster

Wednesday 8th May - Bank

Thursday 6th June - South Woodford

We also need bucket collectors at events and some local supermarkets so if you would like to get involved please contact Lisa.


London Landmarks Half Marathon - Sunday 24th March 2019

We need Volunteers to join our Cheer Squad and cheer on the runners. 

Sparkle Roadshow – to help promote the Sparkle Walk

  • Liberty Centre, Romford – Tuesday 19th Feb
  • Wanstead Farmers Market – Sunday 3rd March
  • Epping Market – Monday 1st April
  • Woodford Tube Station – Thursday 21st March

Timings are to still be confirmed, but the role will include giving out flyers and engaging with the public about the Sparkle Walk.

 Sparkle Walk: Friday 10th May 2019

  • From 6pm-9pm
  • Roles will include marshalling and registration


Summer Festival: Saturday 29th June 2019

  • Timings tbc but likely to be from 11am-7pm
  • Roles will vary and include parking, entrance, catering, games, entertainment, children’s crafts and manning stalls

Events Committee

  • A brand new committee to support the Community Events Team in delivering their yearly calendar of fundraising events, including the Sparkle Walk, Summer Festival and Christmas Wonderland. The committee will help us gain new ideas, gather extra resources and involve more volunteers to help us bring our events together.
  • There will be various opportunities to get involved with and you can choose your level of commitment. There will be a monthly email update and a quarterly meeting to get together and share ideas.
  • Let us know if you’re interested and we plan to set up the first meeting in February.
