How we care For parents Counselling We care for the whole family at Haven House and have a team of experienced and fully trained staff to support you and your family. Our counsellor has great insight and understanding of the physical and emotional needs and challenges that parents and families face. Counselling offers the time and space to discuss concerns and consider issues that may prevent you from getting on with your day to day life. Counsellors do not make judgements or provide answers, but offer support to help you find your own way forward. The sessions are a safe and confidential place to talk and we work extensively with families who are finding it hard to come to terms with their child’s diagnoses and what that means to them. As well as one to one and couple counselling, we offer our families support to extended family members. For more information please email our counselling service. If you would like a referral for counselling, please contact us. Being able to confide in Bev in my moments of crisis helped immensely. I didn’t feel alone anymore and had someone to share my burdens with. Haven House helped me to gain perspective and re-focus my life, leading me back to a much happier place.
