About us

Haven House Children’s Hospice was first conceived in the early 1990s, as the brainchild of Sue Irwin, a registered nurse and health visitor.

By donating you are helping us to reach more seriously ill children and their families in your local communities. We need to raise £4.4 million each year be able to continue to care for the children and families we support. Of this only around 19% is funded by the NHS or local authorities. Thank you for making a difference.

We have seven charity shops in Chingford Mount, North Chingford, Epping, Crouch End, Leytonstone, Loughton and Romford.
