We teamed up with the Paediatric Oncology team at Whipps Cross hospital to host a garden party for children with cancer and their families recently. Lots of fun activities were available along with advice and support from professionals.

It was a great opportunity for families to talk about medicines, nutrition and living with childhood cancer whilst getting together with other families going through similar experiences.

The children had a fun time with outdoor games, pottery, face painting, karaoke, as well as tasters of yoga and music therapy.

One fantastic mum, whose son has survived childhood leukaemia, came along to talk about their experiences of getting through cancer treatment.
