Individual emotional support is available to the siblings of children and young people who use, or have used, the hospice.

When confronted with the illness or loss of a brother or sister, children and young people often find it hard to deal with the painful, confusing feelings of shock, guilt, anger and despair.

It is important to give them honest information and to allow them the time, space and sensitivity to express their feelings. A programme of one-to-one sessions can be arranged with help and support tailored to your child's needs.
