Our Podcasts

Listen to our podcasts and hear more about our care and how we support children who have life-limiting conditions.

Haven House Shop Manager James Hester talks about what it's like to work in our charity boutique in Crouch End and how there's always something interesting for shoppers to find.

Volunteer Development Manager Andrea Thorogood talks to Scott Roberts about all the fun ways to volunteer with Haven House, whether it's supporting our fundraising events or assisting in our shops.

In this podcast, Family Support Worker Becki Josiah talks about the many different challenges parents face when caring for a child with a life-limiting condition.

Music Therapist Roxanne Scott talks about the importance of music therapy at Haven House and how music can help support children and young people in so many unique ways and at different stages of life.

Barbara Keller joined Haven House just before we opened our doors in 2003 and has seen us grow over the years and offer more services to families. In this podcast, Barbara talks about working with families to provide emotional and therapeutic support and her first memories of Haven House.

Isabella Field began fundraising for Haven House after her sister, Molly, died at home from an inoperable brain tumour in 2010. In the past seven years, she and her family have raised more than £111,000 for our hospice. In this podcast, Isabella talks about what it’s like to lose a sibling and the support she receives from our Buddies group.

We have launched our first podcast with our Director of Care, Eileen White, who talks about working for a children's hospice and seeing the difference our support and care can make to a family.
