What should I wear?
You will receive a Sparkle Walk t-shirt to wear at the event which you can collect when you register in the Event Village on Friday 17 May. We'd love you to embrace the Sparkle theme – think glitter, sequins, and sparkle! There will be sparkly accessories available to buy in the Event Village so do bring a form of payment. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, well-fitting trainers or walking boots, and bringing an extra layer of waterproof clothing.

What should I bring?
A lightweight bag, a bottle of water, snacks and cash for merchandise and refreshments.

Will there be food and drinks available?
We ask that you eat before you come and bring a bottle of water to the starting line, which is located in the Event Village. There will be a drink station at the halfway point. There will be a full food and drink menu available at The Cuckfield at the finish line, including a free glass of prosecco or soft drink.

Will there be toilets?
There will be toilet facilities in Wanstead at the start, at The George in South Woodford, at the halfway point at Haven House and at The Cuckfield at the end.

What happens if it rains?
Come rain or shine, the 10k will go ahead. We will only cancel the walk if the conditions become dangerous.

Is the route accessible?
The route will be accessible for wheelchairs and prams. There will be areas on gravel paths, please let us know if you need an alternative route.

Can I bring my dog?
As the route will pass through the hospice grounds, dogs will not be allowed unless they are assistance dogs.

Are children allowed at the event?
All children are welcome to join us on the Sparkle Walk! Please let us know if you will be bringing a pram.
