Flags were waving, faces were painted and excitement filled the hospice last month as children, families and colleagues came together for a special World Cup party in support of Haven House Children’s Hospice ambassador and England Captain Harry Kane.

The afternoon was all about creating joyful memories, with football-themed games, arts and crafts, plenty of cheering and a real sense of togetherness across the children’s hospice.

The biggest surprise came when the England captain himself appeared on screen with a special video message just for our children and families. Harry thanked everyone for their support and wished them a fantastic evening, creating a moment that brought plenty of smiles and excitement.

It was a wonderful reminder of the moments that, through our supporters, patrons and ambassadors help to create every day at Haven House. Alongside the specialist care and support, these shared experiences help children and families make precious memories together.
