Barclays London Service Centre has announced that it hopes to raise £40,000 this year for Haven House Children’s Hospice, which will be its most successful year to date.

The company adopted Haven House as its charity partner in 2012 and are one of the hospice's longest corporate supporters.

Through a variety of fun office activities, bucket collections, volunteering, matched funding and events, their staff have worked tirelessly to raise much needed funds for Haven House.

This year, they have set an ambitious target to raise £40,000 and have created a calendar of activities to help achieve this aim. In June, they will host two corporate quiz nights for the charity and employees are taking part in a host of other Haven House events.

Louis White, Director of Corporate Banking Client Service at Barclays, said: “The relationship between Haven House and Barclays London Service Centre is a very special one. 

“This is this sixth consecutive year that we have supported Haven House, and the desire from Barclays colleagues to raise funds and support in any way possible, is stronger than ever. 

“Knowing the absolute difference that our contributions make, really does drive our team to support in any way possible; whether that be a raffle, a quiz night, a marathon, or a firewalk – or simply supporting the hospice in one of their shops for the day – it really is a case of everything counts!”
