TOWIE star Billie Faiers and her fiancé Greg Shepard appeared this week on ITV’s Mr and Mrs, and raised £5,000 for Haven House Children’s Hospice.

The game show sees three celebrity couples compete to see who knows most about their other half.

The couple who gives the most correct answers to host Phillip Schofield’s questions receives the chance to win £30,000 for their chosen charity. However, no one walks away empty-handed, with the losing pairs each receiving £5,000 for a good cause.

On Wednesday night Billie and Greg were up against motoring expert Quentin Willson and his wife Michaela, and former Tottenham Hotspur footballer Jermaine Jenas and his wife Ellie.

Jermaine and Ellie went on to win £10,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK whilst Quentin and Michaela selected Teenage Cancer Trust for their runner-up prize of £5,000.

Billie and her sister Sam are long-term supporters of Haven House Children’s Hospice and have previously held fundraising events at Minnies, their boutique in Brentwood.

Billie said: “I was delighted to raise funds for Haven House by appearing on Mr and Mrs. They do amazing work in supporting life-limited children and families.

“It really is a great cause and something which everyone should get behind and support.”

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, added: “Billie is a great example of how our celebrities always go above and beyond to support the hospice. Answering questions in front of a studio audience on television is not an easy thing to do yet Billie and Greg did an excellent job in raising much needed funds for our vital work.”
