Business information and events group, Euromoney Institutional Investor plc, have supported Haven House since April 2015, when they launched their initial three-year charity partnership, in support of our Family Welfare and Resilience Project.

The project supported the introduction of a social work and counselling service, expansion of our toy home loan service and provision of infrastructure support within the hospice’s Holistic Care Centre, to help the whole family cope and build resilience while dealing with the practicalities of having a seriously ill child.

Following this initial three-year project, Euromoney have continued to support Haven House by co-funding the new Haven House playground, ‘Haven Island’, which was officially opened by Ben Shephard in July 2021. The following year they co-funded the Haven House physiotherapy service. This was especially welcome because NHS resources had to be re-directed during the pandemic so Haven House physiotherapy became a lifeline for families whose children may otherwise have missed out on this vital treatment.

Euromoney have continued to support Haven House through volunteer Garden Days and fundraising initiatives such as their Christmas Jumper Day.

Corporate Partnerships Manager, Caroline Milton, said:

“We’re delighted to be working with the team at Euromoney, who have given us so much help since 2015. Euromoney’s support has been invaluable in enabling us to offer important holistic services, such as physiotherapy, and in completing our new children’s playground, which has become a much-loved addition to the facilities we’re able to offer to our children and families.”
