Richard Arnold to co-host ball

Haven House has announced that TV presenter Richard Arnold will co-host our Autumn Ball on Thursday 5 October.

The black tie event, sponsored by The Health Lottery ELM Ltd, will take place at the exclusive London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.

Guests will arrive on the red carpet for a drinks reception at 7.00pm followed by a night of fine dining, live music and the excitement of a spectacular auction.

For the past two years the Autumn Ball has been hosted by TV personality and Haven House Ambassador Mark Wright. This year the charity has introduced a new double-headed presenting format for even more excitement.

Richard’s surprise glamorous co-host is set to be announced in the next few weeks.

He said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be co-hosting Haven House Children’s Hospice Autumn Ball. It promises to be a night of exceptional enjoyment for a fantastic cause.

“I can’t wait to be revealing the name of the famous face who I will be sharing my hosting duties with on the night!”

Celebrities who have attended the Autumn Ball over the years include, Haven House Patron Vicki Michelle, Christopher Biggins, Casey Batchelor, Michelle Heaton, Michelle Keegan, Carol Wright, Chloe Wright, Mark Wright Snr and Mitch and Janis Winehouse from the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “We are delighted that Richard Arnold will be co-hosting our Autumn Ball.

“He is a wonderful supporter of our hospice and keeps us entertained every morning on the GMB sofa.

“In the past year we have been extending our celebrity supporter base with new events featuring Ant Middleton from SAS Who Dares Wins and Mutiny and the star comedian Russell Kane.

“As the country’s king of showbiz, it’s therefore fitting that Richard will be co-hosting our ball which is our biggest VIP celebrity event of the year.”

“It promises to be a very exciting night and since 2013 guests have helped raise nearly £270,000 towards our vital work supporting local life-limited children and their families.”
