The children and families that use Haven House are from many different faiths and cultures. We work closely with families to ensure that their faith and cultural needs are respected when using our services.

Faith groups can support our vital work by fundraising throughout the year. Here are some examples:

Our most popular fundraising ideas for faith groups include:

  • Raising funds through a religious festival such as Diwali, Ramadan or Christmas
  • Holding a collection at a service with a Haven House speaker
  • Holding an event at your place of worship, for example a concert or fayre.

Support Haven House this Lent and Easter

This Lent you and your congregation could support Haven House by taking part in 40 days of generosity. Simply get sponsored to give up a treat or take part in a sponsored silence.

If fasting isn't for you why not hold an Easter Big Tea Par-Tea at your church? The whole congregation can get together over some tea, cakes and chocolate whilst raising money for our hospice. You could even ask someone to dress up as the Easter Bunny and hold an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids.

If you would like more information about Haven House or would like to hold a fundraising event for the hospice this Easter please contact the team.

Our children and parents were blown away by the attention to detail in every aspect of care. It was so heartwarming to spend a morning at this hidden jewel in caring for children and their families. Woodford Liberal Synagogue is honoured to play a small part in supporting Haven House.
