FAQs

What will we be served for afternoon tea?
All guests will enjoy a selection of cakes, scones and refreshments.

Is the afternoon tea free?
Yes! Our lovely Jubilee tea party is free. Collection buckets will be available if you'd like to make a donation so that we can continue to care for local seriously ill children.

What other activities will there be?
As well as the afternoon tea, you will enjoy local live bands during the tea party, a raffle, a Gift Tree experience, an arts and crafts stall and you can even pick up a treasure from a stall from our wonderful charity shops.

Are dogs allowed to the event or on the hospice grounds?
Unfortunately dogs are not permitted on to our hospice grounds.

Will the event go ahead if it rains?
Yes, we have a marquee and gazebos so there will be shelter. But of course, we’ll also be keeping our fingers crossed for some sun!

My child goes to Haven House, is there somewhere quiet we can go?
Yes, we have a dedicated space for Haven House families where they can have some quiet time or rest.

Will there be parking at the event?
We have reserved parking at the rugby club behind the hospice for our Haven House families. If you’re not one of our Haven House families there is parking on nearby streets or at Hawkey Hall.
