A blooming marvellous morning was had by parents attending the flower arranging coffee morning.

The sweet and colourful sights and smells of pretty flowers filled the hospice ready for a morning of creative magic.

Led by florist Gillian from Heaven Scent Florals, mums used strings, ribbons, tissue paper and cellophane to create stunning hand tied bouquets. The room was filled with laughter, joy and smiles.

Mum Nicola said: "The coffee morning was such a nice change to the every day. It was funny going to Haven House without Rudy for once just for me! It was great to be distracted with something creative and fun for a couple of hours with all the other lovely mums. We look forward to the next one."

"Taking some time out for something uplifting, creative and nourishing. Self care comes in many guises and connecting with others in the same or similar situation as us really helps you feel in it together, as we all know even for a neurotypical child it takes a village," added mum Ananda.

As well as coffee mornings, we also offer a number of family events throughout the year. These family picnics, our well-known Christmas party and multi-faith festival celebrations.
