What a night!

Our amazing ambassadors reality TV stars Billie and Greg Shepherd hosted around 250 guests at a spectacular charity gala in support of Haven House last week.

The evening was held at the exquisite Nobu London Hotel in Portman Square and guests were treated to a fizz reception, three-course bespoke menu, and entertainment from the superb Function Band (all 14 of them!)

The event was attended by hosts of stars including hospice patron and GMB presenter Ben Shephard, James Argent, Ferne McCann, Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne. Guests heard from hospice mum Nicola Hastings, who shared a poignant account of how Haven House has provided vital support and care to her two-year-old son Rudy. They enjoyed a lively auction hosted by entrepreneur Luisa Zissman before dancing the night away. Prizes included a luxury holiday to Dubai, signed sporting memorabilia from England Captain Harry Kane and singing with The Function Band. There were lots of prizes on the night, even a surprise date with Billie’s glamorous mum Suzie Wells.

The evening raised a staggering £120,000 for our hospice – which is remarkable. Over this last year, Haven House has delivered more than 30,000 hours of care, supported 331 children, and has supported over 994 home visits.

Speaking at the event Billie said: “Haven House is a special place we have known for many years, and we are incredibly proud to be the hospice’s ambassadors."

She added, we recently visited the hospice and met some of the children and their families in the new playground. We are always moved by the positive atmosphere. The children are incredibly inspiring, and the staff go above and beyond to give not only the most excellent care, but help bring smiles, laughter, memories, love and support to families facing the unimaginable. Tonight, is incredibly vital. Tonight, is about bringing you, hospice supporters and friends together, but also about raising as much money as we can for this wonderful charity.
