Golfers will get the chance to putt alongside TV presenter Mark Wright at this year’s Golf Day for Haven House Children’s Hospice sponsored by VFUND in Abridge, Essex, on Thursday 12 May.

The 29-year-old star is an ambassador for Haven House and keen amateur golfer. The day begins at 7.30am with a breakfast roll and lunch provided at Abridge Golf & Country Club on Epping Lane, Stapleford Tawney, Essex RM4 1ST.

Set in 240 acres of beautiful parklands, participants will get to enjoy stunning views of the Essex countryside as they make their way around the course.

Mark Wright said: “What better way to spend the day raising funds for life-limited children in our area than with a lovely round of golf. You don’t have to be the next Tiger Woods or Nick Faldo to take part. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just beginning to find your way around the greens, the emphasis is on having fun and supporting a great local cause.”

Tickets are £90 a head or £360 for a four ball. Ticket price and includes a breakfast roll upon arrival, 18 holes of golf and lunch. Complimentary transport to and from Epping Underground Station (Central line) will also be provided.
