Lucy Rangecroft

"My daughter was born at 27 weeks and was in hospital for two months. I met another family during this time who unfortunately lost their first daughter, and they were being cared for by Haven House and spoke so highly about the care and support. Haven House is an incredible charity and I’m incredibly proud to be running for this cause. There truly are no words that can thank the charity enough for what you do and the support you provide to families."

Arthur and Courtney Ceanne Buchner

This father and daughter duo will be completing the route together. Arthur has completed over 50 marathons whilst for Courtney this will be her first.

Courtney, 28, said:

"I wanted to give back to a charity who helps support families, parents and children who have to go through some of the hardest thing’s life can throw at anyone."

Laura Walker

"I grew up in Woodford Green and have always been aware of the great work that Haven House does, they are a fantastic charity and I’m so excited to be running for them!"

Will Mackintosh

"My school has worked with Haven House for years, and I know of many stories of the incredible support it has provided to families who are members of our community over the past few years. The marathon has been a “bucket list” item for me forever - delighted to be taking part."

Lisa Barham

"I wanted to raise money for Haven House because it's such a wonderful, very local charity, which provides such vital and special care to children and their families. Although I have a ballot place, I wanted to help fund-raise for such an incredible place."

Jack Busby

"Sadly, on New Years Eve 2019 my cousin Georgia passed away. As you can imagine our family were left devastated. Haven House cared for Georgia throughout her life and gave my two aunties Sarah and Michelle respite. As a family, we will always be grateful to the hospice. I will be running to honour and remember my beautiful cousin."

Poppy Ellis

"I have chosen to run for Haven House due to the amazing work they provide to children with complex needs and their families. Friends of our family, Nicola, Harry and Rudy Hastings continue to receive outstanding support from Haven House and it is this valuable support that inspired me to raise money for such an amazing charity!"
