TV actor Gary Lucy, TOWIE’s Debbie Douglas and model Casey Batchelor will be out in force for Haven House Children’s Hospice’s Summer Fayre on Sunday 10 July.

Over 1,000 people are expected to attend the annual event held in the grounds of the hospice in Woodford Green.

It promises to be a day of fun and excitement with Jailhouse Blues Brothers - a Blues Brothers tribute band - set to entertain the crowd with a storming set of soul classics.

Children will be able to enjoy trampolines, a pirate ship themed playground and bouncy castles. Along with delicious food and a barbeque, adults will be able to enjoy a Pimms station and stalls selling clothing and toys, including items from Haven House’s four charity shops.

Several local celebrities, including actor and Haven House Patron Gary Lucy, The Only Way Is Essex’s Debbie Douglas and model Casey Batchelor will be there on the day along with Haven House mascot Henry the Hound.

Woodford Green resident Debbie Douglas said: “I can’t wait for this year’s Haven House Summer Fayre. I came last year and it was so much fun. It’s a great event for the community and raises much needed funds for the hospice. I look forward to seeing you all on the day.”

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “Our Summer Fayre is a key highlight in our calendar and we always look forward to opening up our prized grounds for a day of fun and excitement.

“We are delighted that several of our celebrity supporters, including our Patron Gary Lucy, will be attending this year’s event and we hope it raises an excellent amount for the hospice.”

The suggested entry donation is £2 and under 3s are free.

We are seeking community sponsors to fund the Summer Fayre. For £50 sponsorship, your name or logo will be displayed on a sponsorship board located in a prominent position at the fayre.
