Chingford's Women in Business Network has successfully completed Mission 365 by raising more than the target amount of £1,598.00 in just four months.

To date the group has raised £1,636.41 through the organisation of two events, a samosa making workshop and a supper quiz.

The Supper Quiz, held last month, raised an incredible £1,202.00 with almost 100 people taking part.

On the night, guests enjoyed the quiz, a two-course meal and many also participated in a raffle to raise funds for Haven House.

Despite hitting their target, the networking group are not ready to stop just yet; they plan to hold a yoga fundraising event on 4 July.

Kate Donoghue, Community and Events Fundraiser said: "We are absolutely delighted that WIBN Chingford have not only reached, but exceeded the Mission 365 target. The support of our local businesses is so important to us and enables Haven House to continue providing vital services to local life-limited children and their families.

"Without groups such as WIBN we wouldn’t be able to continue our work and we are so grateful for the support they have given. On behalf of Haven House, I would like to say a huge thank you to all of the members for their hard work and efforts in organising such successful events and raising such an incredible amount of money.”
