Join Haven House Children's Hospice for a super muddy obstacle course at Nuclear Races

You can join our Haven House wave at 2.00pm on Saturday 21 September.

The Mud Run is a fun, super muddy obstacle course with around 20 obstacles. You'll climb in and out of the muddiest ditches, scrabble under cargo nets, crawl through tyre tunnels, over ramps, walls and monkey bars and run a route though the woods.

Distance: 1.5km or 3km

Age: minimum 4 years old on event day

Entry: £12 child entry, £18 adult entry

Fundraising target: £75 per person, or £95 per family

Children 4-8 years old will complete one lap of the 1.5km course and must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone over 9 years old will complete the 1.5km lap twice and can complete the route independently.

At Haven House, our services extend beyond the immediate needs of the seriously ill child to embrace the entire family, including brothers and sisters.

Orla was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour in September 2022. Over six months, she underwent intense treatment. In April 2023, she ran the end-of-treatment bell. Sadly, a few months later, her cancer returned, and her treatment shifted to palliative care. Orla passed away at Haven House in August 2023, aged just 2.

“At Haven House we were able to spend Orla’s last days together as a family. The amazing staff were able to look after our girls for us. Ava and Poppy would go out and do yoga and play music. They did arts and crafts, and we didn't have to worry where they were. We knew that they were safe, and someone was looking after them too."

Haven House Children’s Hospice reserves the right to vary event registration fees and the prices of any goods or services without notice. If said varied fees or prices are higher than stated, we will, at our discretion, either contact the User for instructions or cancel and notify the User of such cancellation.

All event registrations and orders for goods or services are subject to availability and Haven House Children’s Hospice reserves the right to refuse to accept any registration and to refuse to supply any goods or services to any individual. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. All event activities will have additional terms and conditions available at time of registration or purchase.

Donations

Haven House Children's Hospice reserves the right to vary the prices of any goods or services listed without notice. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any donation and to refuse to supply goods or services to any individual.

Encryption

Although the Website uses encryption security software in areas where online payment details are accepted, the security of information and payments transmitted via the internet cannot be guaranteed.
