Earlier this month, our dads’ group came together for their latest outing - a high-energy visit to F1 Arcade Westfield Stratford City.

Once in the driving seat, the experience delivered on every level - immersive, fast-paced and full of friendly competition. Afterwards, the group headed out for a coffee - a chance to relax, have a chat and enjoy some time together beyond the track.

There was space to talk, laugh and connect. Dads shared stories and spent time with others who understand the realities of caring for a seriously ill child - something that can be hard to find elsewhere. 

Our dads’ group plays an important role in the support we offer at Haven House. Alongside the clinical care and therapies at the heart of our work , these shared experiences help build connection, understanding and a strong sense of community.

A brilliant day out and a powerful reminder of the value of simply bringing people together.
