‘Allo 'Allo!

Vicki Michelle MBE popped by Haven House Children’s Hospice’s charity shop on Epping High Street for an impromptu visit on Monday 19 June.

The 'Allo 'Allo! actress is a patron of Haven House and met with Haven House Chief Executive Mike Palfreman and Volunteer Development Manager Andrea Thorogood.

Vicki was shown around by Store Manager Marianne Sweeney and spent time browsing the aisles before posing for a photograph outside in the warm sunshine.

Haven House has four charity shops in Chingford, Epping, Leytonstone and Romford.

Vicki officially opened the charity’s third shop in Leytonstone in October 2015.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “It is always a delight to see Vicki and we are very grateful to her for visiting our charity shop in Epping.

“Vicki is one of our long-serving Patrons and the support she has shown to our hospice over so many years is just incredible.

“We look forward to seeing Vicki again at our circus-themed Summer Fair on Sunday 2 July.”
