Haven House has launched a new campaign in partnership with Galliard Homes to celebrate 15 years of providing specialist care and support for local life-limited children and their families.

#Team15 aims to encourage people to support Haven House through 15 different ways from making a regular donation to taking on a challenge, hosting a Big Tea Par-Tea, volunteering at the hospice or in its five charity shops.

For thrill-seekers, Haven House will be holding a range of challenges in 2018, including bike rides, marathons and Tough Mudders along with family fundraising events such as the East London Bubble Rush on 10 June and Haven House’s 15th Birthday Summer Fair on 1 July.

Haven House is also encouraging local businesses to sign up to its Mission 365 challenge which aims to get 365 companies to each raise £1,135 over the course of a year, which can pay for one night's care for a child at the hospice.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “There has never been a better time to get involved with Haven House than in our 15th birthday year.

“Since opening our doors we have provided palliative and holistic care to over 900 children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.

“Through Team 15 we are highlighting all the excellent ways you can help us support even more families over the next 15 years.

“Whether that’s through a donation, leaving a legacy, volunteering, attending an event or pledging to raise funds for us – everyone can be part of Team15.”
