Local businesses gathered on Tuesday 10 December to celebrate not only the start of the festive season but their incredible efforts in raising a staggering £100,000 for Haven House Children's Hospice.

In total, an impressive 127 businesses now make up the 100 Club - a community of local organisations working together to inspire, support and encourage each other in their businesses, whilst pledging to achieve an annual fundraising goal of £1,000 each for Haven House Children's Hospice.

The Club has brought together businesses from around West Essex and the surrounding areas and from a wide range of sectors including property, construction, recruitment, retail, health, media and food.

On Tuesday evening members gathered at The Manor House in Wanstead to celebrate this impressive milestone and to kick-off the festive season in style.

Guests heard from 100 Club member and former drummer for The Clash Terry Chimes. Terry is a member of the Rock 'n' Roll hall of fame and for the last 25 years he's been a chiropractor and acupuncturist.

Congratulations to all that have contributed to this incredible achievement. The initial aim of the 100 Club was to gather 100 businesses together to work together while supporting the vital work of Haven House and we have already surpassed that. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Haven House in the local community, as we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without you. Without people’s tireless fundraising and kind generosity, we wouldn’t be able to continue to provide the care for which we are so well known. The 100 Club continues to go from strength to strength and I am very much looking forward to what the new year has in store. Haven House would like to thank Assemble Media for sponsoring the evening.
