Business Breakfast 2016

Lord Browne of Madingley will be interviewed by LBC presenter Iain Dale as part of this year’s Business Breakfast for Haven House Children’s Hospice on Thursday 1 December.

The prestigious event, which is sponsored by MFS Investment Management, takes place at Simpson's-in-the-Strand from 7.30am until 9.00am.

The Business Breakfast will open with an address by Iain Duncan Smith MP, a patron of Haven House, followed by a wide-ranging discussion between Lord Browne and Iain Dale.

As one of Britain’s most distinguished corporate leaders with more than fifty years experience in the oil and gas industry, Lord Browne will share his considerable corporate insight among guests.

Areas which are likely to come up for discussion include:

The impact of fracking on the UK’s energy mix and the decision of Scotland to implement a ban
UK/EU-dependence on Russian gas and the overall state of relations
The potential for changes in UK energy policy under Prime Minister Theresa May
The role that major oil and gas companies are playing in the move towards renewable energy
