Haven House Children’s Hospice has wished good luck to ambassador Rochelle Humes who is due to present the BBC's 2016 Children in Need appeal on Friday 18 November.

Rochelle, who grew up in Upminster, is a long-time supporter of Haven House and became an ambassador for the charity in May 2015.

The TV star has visited Haven House many times and has met with children and parents at the hospice.

She has also donated items for use in Haven House’s four charity shops.

Last month Rochelle represented Haven House at the Bloomberg Tradebook Charity Day in the city.

She has presented BBC’s Children in Need for a number of years and also with the late Sir Terry Wogan.

On Friday, Rochelle will be joined by husband Marvin and fellow presenters Graham Norton, Tess Daly, Greg James and Ade Adepitan.

Rochelle said: "I will never forget the amazing experience of presenting Children in Need with Sir Terry Wogan.

"Children In Need is truly one of the highlights of my year and I can't wait for this year's show."

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “We wish Rochelle and Marvin the very best of luck presenting this year’s Children in Need appeal.

“Rochelle has supported our hospice for many years and has spent time meeting with families.

“Our celebrity ambassadors play a crucial role in helping to raise awareness of Haven House and we always appreciate their time and commitment.”
