Haven House has launched a new two-year partnership with The Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford.

Through the partnership Haven House staff will be able to hold bucket collections, sign-up volunteers and fundraise across regular events at The Liberty.

In recent years Haven House has sought to increase its presence in the London Borough of Havering with the arrival of its charity shop on 52 South Street, Romford. The shop was opened in 2016 by Mummy Diaries star Sam Faiers.

Last year, Haven House supported 353 children and young people in North and North East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire. However, the charity knows there are many more families who could benefit from its services, including Havering.

Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “We are thrilled to begin a new and exciting partnership with The Liberty Shopping Centre.

“As a Havering resident I know just how popular The Liberty is with shoppers who come from far and wide to visit its stores each week.

“Not only will this partnership help us raise vital funds for the families that we support, but it will strengthen our presence in the local area.”
