Our Impact 2021

The past year had been a rollercoaster in every sense of the word. We recognise that one report cannot reflect all the achievements  and challenges that we have faced in 2020/21. However, we hope that our impact report will give you a real sense of how the hospice has lived through the pandemic and emerged stronger.

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, we moved rapidly to support families and the NHS through providing more rapid step-down, emergency and crisis respite, and a range of therapeutic, practical and emotional support, often delivered creatively and remotely.

We know that the number of babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in our communities continues to increase. 2020/21 has made us more determined than ever to do more for those who we support, but also for all those who we are not reaching.

Whether you’re one of our generous supporters, amazing volunteers, dedicated and highly skilled members of staff, or our many valued partners in areas such as health, social care and education - your impact on so many of the most vulnerable families of our local community cannot be underestimated.

Donate to our Spring appeal and help more children feel supported.

Thank you for everything.

With your help we bring families together, making precious memories and ensuring they feel supported and are never alone.

Meet Huxley, read more about the children you help.

Donate towards our play service to help seriously ill children enjoy their childhood to the fullest. Play is important for every child and shouldn’t be limited because a child is seriously ill.
